Lesson Plan for Prose Standard : VIII Topic: Hobby – Turns A Successful Career (Section 1) General Objectives: 1. To enable the students to listen to the story. 2. To enable the students to speak simple and easy English . 3. To enable the students to read the text. 4. To enable the students to summarise the context of the story. Specific Learning Outcome: At the end of the class the students will be able to: 1. Understand the lesson, “ Hobby – Turns A Successful Career”. 2. Sketch the character of Mani. 3. Analyse the plot of the story. Introduction: The teacher introduces the lesson by asking the students about their hobbies. She asks the students about the difference between hobbies and interests. The teacher uses a jam board and motivates the students to develop their hobbies. She used the slides to make the session effective.
